David J. Castaneda II, a Customs and Border Protection agent accused of a felony crime involving child pornography had a preliminary examination/ detention

hearing at the Western District Court with the Honorable U.S. Magistrate Judge Collis White on Tuesday April 24, 2018.

The City of Eagle Pass celebrated the 48 year anniversary of Earth Day on Friday, April 20 ,2018 contributing to the environment by planting numerous trees at DeBonna park, the Masters of Ceremonies Juan Cuellar welcomed all in attendance and introduced the public officials present.

The Eagle Pass Police and Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident between a four-door small passenger vehicle and a truck. The accident occurred on Monday April 23 at approximately 7:39pm on Del Rio Blvd in the Seco Mines area.  

Upon arrival Sheriff Deputies and the EPFD emergency crew came in contact with three individuals that were involved in the accident.
