Two individuals attempting to come into the United States through the Eagle Pass Port of Entry No. 1 were detained by U.S. Custom officers on an arrest warrant out of Kentucky, on Tuesday February 12, 2019.
The State of Texas is reported to begin a draw-down of DPS Troopers from Maverick County after deploying close to 500 officials into the area.
The deployment was in response to over 2,000 immigrants who made their way into Piedras Negras and were deemed a threat to border security.
