On Sunday September 6, 2015 a case of alleged indecency with a child was reported to the Eagle Pass Police Department. The case was investigated by the Criminal Investigations Division of the Eagle Pass Police Department and with the assistance from the Maverick County District Attorney's Office.
On Wednesday, September 23, 2015, 55 year-old Jorge Maldonado was presented before a magistrate and formally charged with indecency with a child. Maldonado was remanded to the Tom Bowles Detention Center in lieu of a $50,000.00 bond. This case has been forwarded to the Maverick County District Attorney's Office for prosecution.

El domingo 6 de septiembre se reportó un caso de indecencia con un menor en el departamento de policia.
Desde ese momento se inició la investigación por el departamento de división de investigación criminal con la asistencia de los investigadores del Maverick County District Attorney, La información que nos diera el vocero del departamento de policia Humberto Garza Jr. dice que el miercoles 23 de septiembre se obtuvo por parte de la oficina del distrito una orden de arresto misma que fue efectuada a la 1:55p.m. del mismo dia, donde se arrestó a Jorge Maldonado de 55 años y fue magistrado con cargos de indecencia con un menor. Maldonado fue llevado al centro de detencion donde se le fijo una fianza de $50,000 el caso pasa a la oficina del (District Attorney) Fiscal de Distrito para en un futuro llevarlo a corte.
