The dangers of illegally crossing into the United States through the Southwest Border are very much real. 

During the fiscal year the Del Rio Sector Border Patrol has reported that there have been 32,624 overall undocumented immigrant apprehensions in 2019, a 222% increase as compared to the previous year.
