July 20, 2019 marked 50 years since Apollo 11 landed on the moon, on 20 July 1969. 

Construction work at the Eagle Pass Public Safety Complex Headquarters has been at a steady pace and is expected to be completed by the end of the year (after numerous setbacks in the past). 

The City of Eagle Pass Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting their second annual Parks and Recreation Celebration on Thursday, July 25, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., announced Department Director Jorge Sanchez.
