Hector Munoz Mijares officially submitted his application for candidacy for the position of Eagle Pass Mayor on Wednesday February, 15 at City Hall.
   Mijares who will be 88 years old on April 15 will be challenging incumbent Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu in the May 6 , 2017 election.

The CC Winn Girls Golf team placed fifth overall against 16 teams from El Paso, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, Laredo and San Antonio at the Brown Automotive Golf Tournament held in Del Rio this past weekend.
