A press conference was held on Monday morning as the Emergency Operation Center under the direction of Eagle Pass Fire Chief Jesús Rodriguez informed the media about the most recent information in reference to relief efforts for residential areas which are still unable to be secured in reference to assessment and immediate needs such as shelter, food and drinkable water.

US Congressman Pete Gallego and State Representative Poncho Nevarez were in Eagle Pass over the weekend helping to assess the damage done by the recent storms in our area.

The legislators flew over all affected areas on Sunday and had the following to say about their perception of the damage from a bird's eye view.
