According to Sheriff Tom Schmerber, Frank Velasquez Jr. turned himself in to the Maverick County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, January 24 on a warrant for a recalled bond from his charges of sexual assault on a minor.
The MCJLS Association held its Royalty Contest on Sunday, January 21, 2018 with the participation of many local youth. The event was well attended by family, friends and community members in support of all the participants.
