Eagle Pass Resident hits it big at Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel

   Christmas Day is a magical day for many and for one local Eagle Pass resident, it will be a day to never forget. This Christmas one of Eagle Pass’ own became a millionaire at Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel!

The Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino gave away two Jeeps to Sheila Cadena of Del Rio, Tx. Sheila was one of 12 finalists that were named as part of the 21st Anniversary 2 for 1 Giveaway on Sunday.

Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino announced the winner for their Rebel Round-up Giveaway on Sunday evening. Najmudin Jamal of Eagle Pass  was the lucky winner of the 2017 Ram Rebel. Qualifiers included Teresa Elshire of Castroville, Maria Rivas of San Antonio, Maria Riojas of Asherton, and Francisca Rodriguez of McAllen. Carolina Menchaca of Weslaco, Texas was the winner of the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino raffle last Sunday, May 21.
Menchaca went home with a 2017 Maserati Ghibli, worth $68,000.
Unlike previous raffles, the event held on Sunday involved five winners. From 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. a ticket was selected every hour.
The five people selected were Paulina Noriega, Jose Barrera, Yolanda Vilches, Michael Keltlewel, and Carolina Menchaca.
At 7:00 p.m. those whose names had been called were asked to choose a gift box; two containing $500, two containing $1,000, and one with a toy car that would belong to the winner of the 2017 Maserati Ghibli.
Upon opening their boxes, Carolina Menchaca realized she was the winner of the car.
 Menchaca was extremely excited to be the recipient of the luxury vehicle, and was given the keys by Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Marketing Manager Orlando Marines, and character Mr. Money Bags.
