The Maverick County Commissioners Court held a meeting on Thursday, March 9, 2017 in which they discussed and took action to a Texas Commission of Environmental Quality Proposed Order issued on January 12, 2017, for violation of the Texas Health and Safety Code in regards to the accumulation and disposal of used scrap tires in two areas.

 The Texas Commissio0n on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has issued a notice of enforcement action against Maverick County dated January 12, 2017, for violation of the Texas Health and Safety Code, and or commission rules in regards to the accumulation and disposal of used scrap tires in two specific areas.
