  Eagle Pass native Ricardo Gil, 48 was arrested in San Antonio for his part in an apparent threat against San Antonio’s Chief of Police.
  According to reports in The San Antonio Express News, Gil is responsible for leaving a suspicious package for Chief of Police William McManus prompting the department to call in a bomb squad to further investigate the contents of the package.

The Eagle Pass Independent School District Police Department received an emergency call at the EPISD District Service Center on Saturday morning in regards to a suspicious metal box that contained a possible explosive device.
