Maverick County sheriff Tom Schmerber has announced that an individual by the name of Juan Soliz was detained by the Sheriff Department on Tuesday October 10, 2017 on a warrant issued out for his arrest in regards to burglary.

   The Eagle Pass Police Department reported that between 15 to 20 storage units in different locations across the city have been broken into, and robbed of their contents.

   On Thursday, April 27, a complainant on Alvin Street reported unknown subjects had unlawfully entered a locked tool box from his vehicle and had taken several items without consent.
