A two vehicle accident occurred on Veterans Boulevard near Bibb Street when a motorcycle broadsided a late model Jeep Monday afternoon.

A motor vehicle accident was reported on Tuesday at approximately 1:35 p.m. on Royal Ridge and Bibb Avenue. The accident involved a blue Ford F-150 and a motorcycle which was pinned under the truck as a result of the incident. The driver of the motorcycle, identified as Antonio Ortega, 72 years-old,  was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further medical evaluation. 

Several bystanders assisted immediately after the accident before EMS personnel arrived at the scene. Eagle Pass Police Department officers offered traffic control and took over the investigation of the incident. 

The driver of the Ford F-150 stayed at the scene to render aid to Ortega who was placed on a stretcher and given first aid before being transferred to the emergency room.

Motocicleta lesionado en accidente

Un  accidente  se produjo el  martes aproximadamente a las 13:35 en  el crucero de  Royal Ridge y  Bibb St., el accidente  involucró a una troca   Ford F-150 y una motocicleta que por el golpe quedo atrapado bajo la troca.   La persona identificada como Antonio Ortega, de 72 años de edad, fue transportado al Centro Médico  para su posterior evaluación médica.

Varios  testigos que transitaban  por el lugar asistieron  inmediatamente antes de que el personal de EMS llegaran al lugar. Agentes del Departamento de Policía   controlaron el  tráfico y se hicieron cargo de la investigación del incidente. 

El conductor del Ford F-150 se quedó en el lugar  hasta que el  motociclista fuera llevado en una  camilla y se le dieran  los primeros auxilios antes de ser trasladado a la sala de emergencias.
