The following students graduated from Sul Ross State University Rio Grande College on Friday, August 11, 2017. They will participate in the winter commencement ceremony held in the John Harrell Auditorium on the Uvalde High School campus on Sat., Dec. 16, 2017 beginning at 7:30 p.m. 

Uvalde, TX, – A total of 27 cadets received certificates of completion for the basic peace officer training during the spring 2017 graduation ceremony for the Middle Rio Grande Law Enforcement Academy at SWTJC.

   During April, Bealls Department Store in Eagle Pass held their semi-annual “30 Days of Giving Campaign”. Customers who shopped at the local Bealls store throughout April had the opportuntiy to donate an amount of their choosing to benefit a local organization.

Both C.C. Winn High School and Eagle Pass High School will be having their graduations this weekend, with more than 1,000 students total walking the stage to receive their diplomas.
