Lawsuit against county heads to federal court

Over 30 former and current employees of the Maverick County Sheriff’s Department and Maverick County are headed to court after mediation attempts to come to an agreement failed.

  Ricardo Rodrigo Rodriguez and Eric Hernandez, who were arrested by DEA in relation to a drug bust in April, are scheduled to appear in Del Rio Federal Court on Tuesday, July 11 for their re-arraignment at 9:30 a.m. with J.S. Magistrate Judge Collis White.
