The Eagle Pass City Council, in conjunction with the Children’s Library, held an essay contest in which over 300 Eagle Pass Independent School District students participated to win the distinction of public city official for a day.

Schools, businesses, and government facilities across the city celebrated Dia De Los Niños this Friday. Among those celebrating the holiday were the Mexican Consulate, and Kids Are First Head Start centers throughout the community including Rosita Valley and LBJ locations.
