During the City Council meeting held on Tuesday December 5, 2017 the city chose De La Garza Construction as the new Public Safety Headquarters Construction Manager at Risk.

Maverick County Code Inspector Ricardo Treviño is reaching out to all contractors, master plumbers, master electricians or citizens who may be building outside the city’s limits next year in order to remind them of new requirements adopted by Commissioners Court.

   Eagle Pass City Council and Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu are in the process of finding another engineering company to begin construction of the Public Safety Headquarters, or at least finish off what another company originally started but left unfinished after various issues.

 The Eagle Pass Independent Board of Trustees held a special meeting Monday and Tuesday as part of the district-wide tour to gather information on how extra funding to come from the recently approved tax rate should be dispersed.
