Guadalupe Garcia McCall, award winning author of the novel, Under the Mesquite, Shame of the Stars, and Summer of the Mariposas visited Eagle Pass on Friday, April 27, 2018.

McCall visited students at the Eagle Pass Independent School District where she spoke about her books and how they’re written from personal experiences of life living in Maverick County.
