The Maverick County Commissioners Court held a meeting on Thursday March 29 in which they were presented with the 2017 Fiscal Year Audit.
 Mr. Beyer Independent Auditor presented the county with their audit findings and independent auditors opinion letter.

More than a year after seven employees from the Maverick County Auditors office filed an employment discrimination complaint against Auditor Sandra Watkins with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOCC), the Maverick Commissioners Court has settled the case with the accusing employees.
