Commissioner's Court approves two positions for tax assessor's office
The Maverick County Commissioner's Court held a special meeting to discuss and possibly approve the hiring of additional employees for the County Tax Assessor Collector’s office.

The Eagle Pass Independent School District Board of Trustees held a public meeting on the new proposed Ad Valorem Tax of 2.5 cents per every $100 of valuation on Friday, April 7, at 12:00 pm at the EPISD Service Center Board Room in which they moved to approve the new tax rate, triggering the rollback rate election to be held on May 27.
