The Eagle Pass Police Department responded to the corner of South Monroe and Bliss street on Sunday, November 26, due to reports of a fight in progress near the Chelos Baseball Field.

The Eagle Pass Civil Service Arbitration Hearing regarding the suspension and possible termination of 15 year veteran of the Eagle Pass Police Department Sergeant Raul Gonzalez went into its second day of testimony in front of a hearings examiner.  

On Saturday, April 29, the Eagle Pass Police Department received four reports from four separate complainants in regards to fraud. The four complainants alleged they were defrauded by a known female who took approximately $3500 from each person in separate incidents involving the validation of educational courses from Mexico.
