District Attorney Roberto Serna reported that on April 20, 2017, a Dimmit County jury found Gilbert Cisneros guilty of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

  On March 8, 2017, in Eagle Pass, Maverick County, Texas, a jury was about to be selected for the punishment phase of the case of the State of Texas vs. Luis Flores with the offense being aggravated assault after an incident in which he stabbed his then wife in the eyes on February 3, 2015. 

   Luis Flores, the man charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after stabbing his then wife in the eyes, will be facing trial on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
