The Nevarez Law Group filed a lawsuit on behalf of Isabel Velasquez Perez and her daughter Vanessa Velasquez, a minor, in the 293rd Judicial District Court against Anna Karina De La Garza who has been served a citation of law suit and now has up to 4 weeks to file an answer.

Mayor Ramsey English Cantu expressed his thoughts and concerns in reference to the recent accident involving Vanessa Velasquez, the young teen who was tragically struck by a 2017 Red Cherokee Jeep driven by Ana De La Garza on January 5, 2018 while attempting to cross Garrison St. Velasquez continues in critical condition in a San Antonio hospital as a result of the accident.
