Del Rio Sector Border Patrol responded to an incident that involved approximately 16 undocumented individuals found in the brush near the Paloma Ranch on Thursday, December 7 at around 1:40 p.m. on the side of a roadway.

Law enforcement agents and the Mexican Consulate’s Office in Eagle Pass were notified on Sunday, October 29, by US Border Patrol agents that human remains had been discovered in a desolate area within Comanche Ranch, about 22 miles from town.

EPWWS employee arrested with undocumented

Jose J Licona Zuniga, an employee of the Eagle Pass Water Works System Water Plant, was arrested on Wednesday, September 27 for transporting undocumented aliens into the United States.

The 16-year-old male who went missing in the Rio Grande while trying to cross into the US with a group the night of Monday, January 23 has yet to be found.
