Mayor Cantu challenges public officials to work together for community’s sake

Eagle Pass City Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu was re-elected as mayor, and will continue to serve the community in the position for another four year term.
During the Saturday May 6, 2017 election, Mayor Cantu respectively secured 1,622 votes or 85 percent of the entire total votes cast during the city non-partisan election process. Cantu was being challenged by long time media communications personality Hector M. Mijares, who received 269 votes or 14 percent.
Cantu registers candidacy for re-election
Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu officially registered his candidacy for re-election to the position of Mayor on Monday, January 23 at the Eagle Pass City Hall with Eagle Pass City Secretary Imelda B. Rodriguez.
