Lowe’s employees, through the Lowe’s Heroes program, have finalized much needed renovations for the Eagle Pass Youth Center facility which provides after school assistance, mentoring, and a host of recreational activities for local children. 

The Main Library may actually open sometime soon after renovations have gone more than a year over schedule.

The City of Eagle Pass continues its renovation of the public library, and is currently working on the technology for the updated building.

   Library Manager Cesar Villa said there was no specific date for the highly anticipated reopening of the library.

   The International Bridge Board of Directors have already been working on the plans to remodel bridge one for several months now.  According to reports the first phase will involve removing and installing a new fence line, followed by the installation of the roof along the entire length of the bridge up to the Mexican borderline.
