The Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino held their third Ford F-150 4 x4 giveaway on Sunday, July 23, with thousands of people participating in the most recent casino promotional raffle.

The Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas would like to thank Governor Greg Abbott for signing legislation to allow the Tribe to better exercise its deeply held religious beliefs. 

HB 1891 allows tribal members to expand the hunting of anterless deer for use in religious ceremonies. Current state law restricts hunting of anterless deer to three months of the year. 

Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino held its raffle on Sunday, April 30th as part of the Mercedes-Benz Double Take Giveaway promotion.

 The Maverick County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate an infant death which was reported Monday morning. 

  At approximately 7:30 a.m., deputies arrived at the mobile home located near the Kickapoo Reservation, after the mother of the 16-day old child had called. The mother said she found the baby, who was sleeping in the same bed, unresponsive.
