Maverick County Sheriff’s Department, Eagle Pass Fire Department and EMTs responded to an accident in which a man was trapped under a tractor in Rosita Valley Thursday afternoon.

At approximately 10:00 a.m. on Friday, EMTs and the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to an incident at the Comfort Inn where the manager had seen a woman lying on the ground by the trashcans bleeding. The woman was later found to have several cuts and bruises to her body and was transferred to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center. The incident is currently under investigation.

The Eagle Pass Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Merida Street in Loma Bonita.
