The Eagle Pass Babe Ruth Baseball 13 Under All-Stars were eliminated this week from the 2017 Babe Ruth Baseball 13 Under World Series Championship held from August 10 through August 17 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
The team which consists of Mathew Elizondo, Roly Jimenez, Ramon Kali Salinas, Eddie Sepulveda, Zack Zapata, Juan J. Garza, Omar Salazar, Izek Garza, Jarod Romero, Aaron Trevizo, Hector Gomez, Josue Jimenez and Fabian Velasquez, and Assistant Coach Eddie Sepulveda left it all out on the field all season, earning a place among the Babe Ruth Baseball elite in a run for the World Series Trophy.
The Eagle Pass All Stars faced Greater Keene All Stars during the quarter finals in the champioship bracket on Tuesday, August 16 losing by a score of 7 to 1. Greater Keene advanced to the World Series Semifinals.
 Congratulations to the Eagle Pass team for their accomplishments during their baseball season including clinching the 2017 Babe Ruth Baseball 13 Under Southwest Regional Championship,  and representing the City of Eagle Pass with great pride and honor.
