Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber reported that a 42-year-old female identified as Aide Araceli Medina was transported to a San Antonio, Tx hospital after she was involved in a single vehicle rollover accident on Wednesday evening.
Eagle Pass Customs and Border Protection Port Director Paul del Rincon said that security measures at both ports will continue until individuals who are seeking asylum in the United States stop trying to cross illegally through the bridge system as a way to circumvent the process set in place by U.S. immigration law.
