Community members and local law enforcement officials are asking for assistance to help out a family who lost all their belongings in a house fire that occurred on Tuesday, August 13.
Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber is respectively asking for donations to assist a local law enforcement officer and family through this difficult time.

The fire - which consumed the entire home - occurred Tuesday evening in an area along the 400 block of La Paloma Drive in the Rosita Valley Sector of the community at approximately 5:10 pm.
