This growth can be seen through the appraised values and addition of properties set by the Maverick County Appraisal District (MCAD). 

For example, in 2018 the MCAD reported 34,210 properties in its appraisal roll as compared to the previous year which had 33,948. 

In total there were 226 new properties added to the appraisal roll which give way to future development.

City officials are confident in the community's future and have put together the City of Eagle Pass 2040 Master Plan to work along with developers, state and federal officials in directing such growth in a precise manner

Maverick County officials are also working on developing a sound strategy to be effective as a governmental agency and welcome such growth.

New development and increases in properties are clear signs of positive growth in our area which often attract all kinds of opportunities including commercial business and industry.
