Police Department officials reported that a call came into the department's 911 system in which a caller stated that gunshots were being fired towards an apartment complex on Medina St.
Eagle Pass Police Department patrol units quickly responded to the area and made contact with several individuals who stated that a subject driving a truck fired upon the building numerous times.
Witnesses stated that the individual then fled in the vehicle. Eagle Pass Police Department officers are currently investigating the incident in attempt to identify and capture the assailant.
Witnesses state that at least 5 gunshots were fired.
