13-15 Babe Ruth All Stars advance to World Series

The Eagle Pass Babe Ruth 13-15-year-old All-Star team is headed to its third consecutive World Series in North Dakota after being crowned Regional Champions in Pine Bluff, Arkansas this weekend. 

The Eagle Pass team, managed by Eddie Sepulveda, went undefeated at Regional by beating Pine Bluff, Arkansas by a score of 5-1, then defeating Bryant, Arkansas 7-2 in game 2. 

In game 3 the youngsters defeated White Hall, Arkansas 7-0 and then earned a birth at the Babe Ruth World Series Tournament by defeating Tallahassee, Alabama 13 to 0.

The team will now travel to North Dakota to participate in the 2019 15yr Babe Ruth League World Series in the month of August. Eagle Pass Babe Ruth League President Morris Libson Jr. congratulates all Eagle Pass teams and wishes them all the luck during their next baseball venture.

The team includes #28 Eduardo Sepulveda, #5 Kali Salinas, #9 Oscar Cavazos, #23 Alan R. Jimenez, #9 Manuel Melchor, #7 Juan GarcТa, #16 Omar Salazar, #1 Izek GarcТa, #42 Aaron Trevizo, #32 Roger Menchaca, # 10 Jorge Saucedo, and #22 Jarod Romero.
