Over 30 entities and agencies participated and provided applications and information regarding job opportunities.
The job fair allowed for people seeking employment to connect with potential employers who were offering on-site job interviews and important information related to their businesses. Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce director Sandra Martinez states that this type of opportunities are important because it allows for employers and potential employees to network and connect.
The job fair included a designated time for Veterans, foster youth, migrant seasonal farm workers from to seek employment opportunities with all participating agencies.
The public was also able to meet with potential employers from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
