During their meeting held on Tuesday, Commissioners Court approved to hire two companies to assist the county in conducting an environmental study and to asses the commercial property and appraise its value.
Maverick County Commissioners Court approved to hire - through an exemption of professional services - Terracon Consultants Inc and Weissler and Weissler and Associates to conduct an appraisal review of the property Maverick County is considering purchasing.
The Commissioners Court also discussed the topic in executive session with their legal counsel.
Once back in open session, the Commissioners Court instructed legal counsel Wilson to proceed as instructed in executive session.
Maverick County continues looking into every option in their negotiations to purchase a property, which they are planning to turn into an extension of the County’s Tax Assessors Offices.
