Officers were summoned to the intersection of Pierce and Quarry St. at around 1:04 am in which they made contact with 5 individuals believed to be illegals.
United States Border Patrol was summoned to the scene and detained the subjects.
Minutes later, at around 1:32 am officers were once again called to an area near the golf course on Bliss St. in regard to over 19 undocumented immigrants crossing into the U.S. illegally through the Rio Grande River.
At around 1:39 am officers once again responded to yet another undocumented immigrants emergency call in an area near Ceylon St.. At least 7 undocumented immigrants were reported.
Upon arriving at the scene officers were not able to make contact with anyone and continued searching the area to no avail.
