Maverick County continues pushing forth numerous planned infrastructure projects to be completed in the near future.

Among the projects are road and street improvement projects in all precincts.

Currently, the Maverick County Road and Bridge Department are paving several streets in Precinct No. 1. They are also planning to reconstruct and pave several streets in Pct 2 in the near future.

These infrastructure projects have been pushed by both Commissioners for Pct. 1 Rosy Cantu and Pct. 2 Jerry Morales along with County Judge David Saucedo.

Currently, Maverick County Commissioners Court continues the process to issue out Certificates of Obligation not to exceed $4,000,000 for the expansion of its water treatment plan and other infrastructure projects which will include more road paving projects.

The County hopes to have the funds available within the following month to proceed with providing the required services to the community residents.
