The Eagle Pass Bridge System is announcing that International Bridge No. 1 will be shutdown for at least 5 hours on Sunday May, 5, 2019 from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The Port of Entry closure is due to a scheduled visit from Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador to our sister City of Piedras Negras, Coahuila.
U.S. Port Authorities ask the community to be prepared to use Port of Entry No. 2 during this time. Authorities state that pedestrian traffic will not be affected.
You are asked to please take the necessary measures when traveling to and from Mexico or United States.
