Manager Jorge Barrera and Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu held a welcoming ceremony

for all in attendance to open up the annual conference. “On behalf of the EPPWS

we welcome you and appreciate your participation,” said Barrera.

Mayor Cantu stressed the importance of such conferences that cover many important

topics involving water and wastewater management all across the region.

There were over 35 organizations from across the State of Texas who manage

water systems in their communities.

Throughout the two-day conference, there will be numerous presentations,

including information from vendors and financial advisers in the field and other

informational forums.

During the first day there were numerous informational presentations by organizations

regarding key innovations, water treatment, and other important tools used to

provide safe water to millions of people across the country.

Present during the conference were companies which included Ad Comp Systems

Group, Tetra Tech, The International Processing System, Construction

Product Marketing, Kinloch Equipment & Supply, and numerous other entities.
