A Maverick County resident suffered a flat tire on her vehicle and was assisted by a Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper who so happened to pass by.
The kind gesture and incident occurred on Saturday, February, 9 when DPS Trooper Emmanuel Rios who is currently deployed in our community was out patrolling.
Trooper Rios saw that the individual was having a problem and quickly assisted the stranded motorist.
The incident took place outside of the Shell gas station on FM 1021 and Tierra Soberana Blvd.
Trooper Rios changed the tire made sure that the female driver was back on the road and then proceeded to continue his daily duties.
