Bowles is leaving the EPISD Board after serving a four-year term and not seeking re-election. 

   EPISD Board President Lupita Fuentes called for the recognition of Mr. Bowles and thanked him for serving his community. 

   The School District presented Bowles a recognition plaque. “In honor of your four years of dedication and unwavering commitment to the students, staff, and parents of the community we thank you,” said Fuentes. 

   Bowles was moved by the recognition and thanked everyone for allowing him to serve the community. 

   “I have enjoyed the four years. We have done a lot and thanks to the school board, they have done a terrific job. We got things done and we did a lot of good for this community. All this is for the kids. When I came in, I told them I’m only going to be here for one term and that’s it. And it’s over now,” said Bowles.  Bowles commended everyone around him for the work that they have done and continue doing for the School District.  “I am very proud to say that this Board has done a terrific job and I’m glad that I was part of it,” concluded Bowles.
