The MCHD staff welcomed those in attendance and thanked everyone involved in the expansion project for their hard work and dedication.
The new expansion will allow for the MCHD Administration to move to the second floor and free up office space for more medical service offices on the first floor of the building.
These project has been in the works since February of this year.
In February, the Maverick County Hospital District held a meeting in which they discussed and had a presentation from Gabriel Amaya of MGA Construction in executive session regarding the Districts Business Plan and Projects. The presentation included floor plans for the Hospital Districts expansion at the second-floor level which included all administrative offices and add-ons to accommodate other program offices.
The Hospital District had a large amount of square footage on the second floor that had remained undeveloped and not used since the building was initially built. The new offices are taking advantage of every inch of space available as the District looks into the future and the growth within our region.
“We must begin to prepare for the future and the growth in our community,” states CEO Terri Patlan. Contreras.
