School district observes Impact Week

The Eagle Pass Independent School District (EPISD) is committed to providing a positive learning environment for all students that enhances personal safety and promotes respect, dignity, and equality among students. During October 8-12 the school district is having Impact Week, a district-wide initiative whose main goal is to build on social awareness and acceptance.  

Different activities are going to be conducted throughout the district to reflect on the following areas: 1) Verbal and Physical Bullying 2) Cyber-Bullying 3) Gender Equality 4) Self-Awareness: and Your Life Matters.      

The School District strives to ensure that all of its students and employees are free from bullying and harassment including violence in students' relationships.  District officials state that they will make every effort to handle and respond to each and every charge and complaint filed by students and employees in a fair, thorough and just manner.   The EPISD focuses on the Pillars of Character. Education traits including Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship are taught through lessons, activities and stories integrated continually into all facets of campus life.  

The EPISD is committed to providing the students with a safe environment, in which, they are able to excel in all areas of development.
