The DPS Trooper terminated the pursuit at the intersection of Calle Oaxaca and Coahuila Street. With the assistance of the Criminal Investigation Division the vehicle and subject were found at a later time on Edison Street. The subject Efren Lopez 27 years of age from Eagle Pass was arrested and charged with Evading arrest/detention with a vehicle and Evading arrest/detention on foot and was transported to the Maverick County Jail.

Eagle Pass- The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) on 09/26/2018 at approximately 11:29am was involved in a vehicle evading arrest incident where a DPS Trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a Toyota passenger car on Calle Oaxaca in Maverick County.
