Hawaii had no Aloha for host team Eagle Pass in their game, a rain-out played on Tuesday morning at Moncada Baseball Park on a hot, humid day on the banks of the Rio Grande, punishing Eagle Pass pitching for ten runs in the first two innings.

Kali Salinas was on the mound for the host squad and Jacob Villacorte started for Honolulu. Kaden Stremick drew a walk, then Jameson Hussey doubled followed by another double by Kamaehu Sanchez to give the visitors a 2-0 lead. Then in the second inning, Chase Hedani was hit by a pitch, followed by a single by Isaiah Mishima and consecutive hits by Makai Miyamoto and Reece Carganilla. Then Stremick struck again with another double. Hussey and Sanchez would get on again and score to make it 10-0 Hawaii.

But Eagle Pass would not back down and came across with five big runs in the third sending the jam-packed stands into a frenzy when Eddie Sepulveda drew a walk followed by a hit by Aaron Trevino. Juan Garza reached on an error on the third baseman then Matthew Elizondo singled and Jose Pablo Ramos doubled to bring the home team close, but it was a little too little, a little too late as Hawaii scattered another six runs in the final two frames with scores by Miyamoto (2), Hino, Landon Furukawa, Mishima and Sanchez to seal the deal.

Eagle Pass played their first bracket game last night against Norwalk, Connecticut but results were not available at press time.

Hawaii awaits the winner of the game between Hammond, Indiana and Atlantic Shore, New Jersey this afternoon at 5:30.

In the other Bracket, it will be Talahassee, Florida awaiting the winner of Eagle Pass and Norwalk.
