The Eagle Pass Police Department arrested a 23 year-old male wanted for aggravated robbery.

Eagle Pass Police Department informational reports indicate that the individual is identified as 23-yearold Jesus Alberto Valles (DOB 3/27/95) and that a warrant was out for his arrest.

Law enforcement officials confirmed Valles’s arrest and stated that the incident (aggravated robbery) had occurred during July, 5 2018 and that Valles had not been detained to face charges on the alleged crime.

On Tuesday, July, 31 an officer out patrolling spotted an individual matching the description of the person being sought and proceeded to stop him.   The Police officer was able to identify the subject as the individual connected to the aggravated robbery.

The subject was then apprehended without any resistance.

Valles faces charges of aggravated robbery.

Valles was presented before a magistrate and given a $ 20,000 bond.

Valles was remanded to the Tom Bowles Detention Center.

Maverick County Sheriff Department records show that Valles was arrested by Sheriff Deputies and booked into the Tom Bowels Detention Center on February 13, 2018, on an Assault/Family Violence charge.

It’s important to note that an individual is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
