The new renovation project has been in the works for the past few years in order to open up space on the first level of the building for its faculty, physicians, and new specialist. Maverick County Hospital District Chief Executive Officer Terri Patlan Contreras has been overseeing the new project along with the District’s Board of Trustees.

“We’re working diligently with the chosen contractor to make sure we get enough space for our needs in that new area,” said Contreras.

The MCHD Board of Trustees are enthusiastic to see the project come to fruition after dealing with the planning stages for some time. Contractor Amaya states that he made sure that every square inch of the space available was not wasted. Amaya states that he believes they will meet the deadline to turn over the new building space by the time agreed upon.

The MCHD began to plan and search for floor plans as of last year and are now anxiously waiting to be able to move into their new administration offices on the second floor.

The other office spaces that will be left at the ground floor will be converted into medical office spaces to be used by the districts medical staff and the new practitioners that will be coming in.

El Hospital del distrito del Condado de Maverick continúa avanzando con la adición de un nuevo ala administrativa a su edificio.

El nuevo proyecto de renovación ha estado en obras en los últimos años con el fin de abrir espacio en el primer nivel para su facultad, médicos y nuevos especialistas  

La Directora Ejecutiva del Distrito Hospitalario del Condado de Maverick, Terri Patlan Contreras, ha estado supervisando el nuevo proyecto junto con la Junta de Fideicomisaros del distrito.

"Estamos trabajando diligentemente con el contratista elegido para asegurarnos de tener suficiente espacio para nuestras necesidades en esa nueva área", dijo Contreras.

La Junta de Fideicomisos de MCHD está entusiasmada de ver el proyecto fructificar después de lidiar con las etapas de planificación por un tiempo.

El contratista Amaya afirma que se aseguró de que cada centímetro cuadrado del espacio disponible no se desperdiciara. Amaya afirma que cree que cumplirán con la fecha límite para entregar el nuevo espacio de construcción en el momento acordado.

El MCHD comenzó a planificar y buscar planos desde el año pasado y ahora espera ansiosamente poder mudarse a los nuevos espacios administrativos de su administración en el segundo piso.

Los otros espacios de oficinas que quedarán en la planta baja se convertirán en espacios de oficinas médicas para ser utilizados por el personal médico del distrito y los nuevos profesionales que ingresen.
