During the event city public work employees brought in their heavy machinery and vehicles for an exhibition.
Hundreds of families attended the event and toured the newly renovated library.
Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu along with city administration welcomed those in attendance and emphasized the importance of an outlet of knowledge and public works activities. “Today we gather at the Eagle Pass Public Library to initiate our ‘touch-a-truck’ presentation in collaboration and preparation for Public Works Week that will commence this Monday. The youth of our community had a chance to stop by and see the actual trucks our department uses to keep our city streets and community at large moving forward,” said Cantu.
Cantu thanked the Public works department for all that they do to keep the community and city in tip -top shape.
This week marks the 58th
