Upon arrivals police officials found the young female on the ground. Emergency technicians began to provide medical support to the individual and she was then rushed to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center Emergency Room to be observed, treated or possibly be prepared to be air lifted to a San Antonio, Texas hospital depending on her injuries.
  Luckily the young female did not sustain serious injuries from her jump and fall.
   Unofficial information over the incident states that the juvenile ended up on the overpass bridge when she had an argument with relatives.
   The juvenile proceeded to jump of a part of the overpass which is approximately 15 feet high.
 The Maverick County Sheriff Department took over the incident as it originated in the county.

Jovencita se tira del Overpass

El trágico intento de suicidio de una  joven de 16 años hizo que el personal del Departamento de Policía y Bomberos de Eagle Pass fueran a un llamado al North Veterans Blvd aproximadamente a las 11:45 p.m. el jueves 29 de marzo.
  Las unidades de policía se apresuraron hacia la escena donde se informó que una mujer había saltado del Overpass en Veterans Blvd.
   Al llegar, los oficiales de policía encontraron a la joven en el suelo. Los técnicos de emergencias comenzaron a brindar apoyo médico a la persona y luego la llevaron rápidamente a la sala de emergencias del Centro Médico Regional de Fort Duncan para observarla, tratarla o posiblemente prepararse para ser llevada por aire a un hospital de San Antonio, Texas, dependiendo de sus lesiones.
   Afortunadamente, la joven no sufrió lesiones graves por  caída
   La información no oficial sobre el incidente indica que la joven terminó en el puente elevado o overpass cuando tuvo una discusión con familiares.
